He tells us:
“My passion for typographic design has allowed me to be involved with many aspects of the graphic arts industry. For almost three decades, I have offered my lettering and design expertise to publishers, packaging design firms, corporate identity firms, and advertising agencies. Many of these assignments have involved creating unique solutions for book jackets, logos, type systems and custom headlines for ads.
“Most of the alphabets that I design and create, are usually display faces because they allow more creative expression. When a unique display style is used in the proper environment, it attracts a larger audience, which has always been my goal. The creation of a text typestyle requires more preparation and testing. Elegante and Homeland with all their weights, are examples of these. One of my favorite and challenging endeavors has been creating custom fonts for corporate clients. My success has been measured by the client’s satisfaction.”
